Parishes of Naas, Sallins and Two-Mile-House - Coronavirus Further Update.

Dear Parishioner,
With the latest request from the Government to STAY AT HOME, regrettably we are obliged to close the churches for the next two weeks. This is a very difficult measure, but one designed to ensure our collective health and safety. Please continue to join us on the Parish Radio/Webcam (please see details below). With God's help and protection we will come through this testing time.
Take care, keep safe, keep well.
Fr. Liam

Please note: new temporary contact number for the Parish Office is 089 216 3210 or email, [email protected]

Masses will be celebrated via webcam from Our Lady and St. David's Church, please see timetable below. We strongly urge the use of webcam (see link on this page) and our local radio broadcast (on 107.3) to encourage the faithful to enter into spiritual communion through these means. Please see prayer below. Bishop Denis has encouraged us to pull together as a people and a diocese. This is a time where there is a great need for prayer.

My Jesus,
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.

Happy Mothers Day to all Naas, Sallins and Two Mile House Mums

March 21, 2020

Some will say Mothers Day is a racket thought up by the card companies. Others will see it as something else to cost them money or time. Kids will see it as a fun time to do something nice to make mammy happy. Others will see it as an opportunity to say thanks to their mothers, an opportunity to show love and affection, an opportunity to spoil her.  – And spoil her you should!  They say that you never miss your mother ’till she’s gone. Well, it’s only when this writers mother died that I understood those words. What I wouldn’t give to be able to spoil her for another day! So happy mothers Day to all Mums where ever you may be, and a big ‘thank you’.

March 12, 2020

The following instructions take into consideration the new norms issued by the Irish government to be in force at 18.00 today.  Bishops are asked to promulgate these instructions in their dioceses as soon as possible.

These instructions complement the advice issued yesterday by the Irish Episcopal Conference and remain in place until 29 March 2020.  It is likely that these restrictions will continue for some time after that, and instructions regarding ….
