Today we celebrate and honour our own relatives and friends who are saints with the Lord in Heaven.
Calling all local heroes and legends! The Credit Union has just launched the Cecil Doyle Credit Union Community Bursary. There is €20,000 available for local voluntary community groups. If your community group is in the parish of Naas, Kill, Caragh, Two Mile House, Sallins and Ballymore Eustace you can apply for this Bursary. Log on to www.naascu.ie to download an Application Form or call into your local Credit Union, to pick up a Form. Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 7th of November.

Prayers and blessing of graves will take place in Bodenstown Cemetery, Sallins on Sunday 2nd November at 11am. All welcome.

On Sunday November 3rd, there will be a walking pilgrimage visiting the cemeteries of Naas. All are welcome to join in some or all of our journey.
Assembling 1.30pm sharp at the Famine Graveyard, Craddockstown Road beside Old Co. Council Offices. Abbey Cemetery, behind Moat in centre of town, assemble 2.00pm. St. David’s Church Graveyard, Main Street, assemble 2.20pm. Nun’s Graveyard, at Sallins Road Church, assemble 2.35pm. Maudlins Cemetery, Dublin Road, assemble 3.10.pm. St. Corban’s Cemetery assemble 3.30.pm. for Rosary, prayers and blessing of the graves.
Under legislation it is possible for charities to reclaim the Tax on Annual Donations of €250 or more. With the co-operation of the donor the Parish keeps a record of all envelope donations to both parish and clergy fund. As part of our Parish Pastoral Care Programme, we are delighted to be in a position to offer young people, who have experienced the death of a close relative or a separation/divorce in their family, the opportunity to participate in Rainbows 12 week Peer Support Programme.
When something significant happens in a family, the entire family is affected. If a close family member dies or parents separate, not only do the parents grieve, the children do also. Children find it difficult to express their feelings of grief because of their age and …
