Pope John Paul II Award Programme.

The John Paul II Award Programme has been running in our diocese for a number of years. The award helps young people get involved in the life of their local parish and community. It is for those in senior cycle or for school leavers aged 16 and over.

Through the award the teenagers will have the opportunity to get involved in various events, activities, ministry, training and trips over the year ahead.  Those who sign up are committing to work voluntary in their local parish and community for the year. Over the last 4 years we’ve had over 1000 young people from the diocese participating in the awards.

We are inviting young people to sign up for Year 6 of the Pope John Paul II Award. Those who sign up are committing to work voluntary in their local parish and community for the year.
