Our Parish

Welcome to the parishes of Naas, Sallins and Two-Mile-House. While separate in structure, all three parishes are served by the one parish team, with the single aim of building up believing and caring communities.

During the boom years our parishes expanded rapidly. People from all corners of the country and world chose to make their home here. The boom years have well and truly gone and many people in our community are unfortunately feeling the effects. In these difficult times we strive to have hope and to rediscover the importance and support of family, faith, community and belonging.

It is our hope that our website will contribute to uniting all who live here and help to build up community, so that people will be fulfilled in their own lives and families, and be willing to share their time and talents for the benefit of their neighbour, parish and community.

In more recent years the Vatican has looked at this and decided that the translation should be a literal translation from the Latin to English, thus resulting in the publication of the Revised Version we are now using.
