A Word of Appreciation

Published on April 16, 2022

Easter Sunday has arrived! A day filled with hope, joy and the promise of life eternal. Each of our four churches are blessed to have so many Parishioners willing to ‘roll up their sleeves’, simply because they have a deep love for their particular Church or Parish. On this Easter day our Churches look resplendent with floral arrangements that befit the moment. To all who contributed in any way to the experience of Holy Week we express a heartfelt word of appreciation. To our organists, musicians and choirs, Ministers of the Word and of Communion, altar servers, collectors and counters, floral arrangers, altar societies, those who look after and clean our Churches, Liturgy Groups, PPCs and Lotto Committee, and to those who carry out a multitude of individual tasks.
To the office staff on the Sallins Road and in Ballycane, to our Sacristans in all four Churches. Thanks to the many Parish Groups who participate and keep alive the mission of our Parish. Finally, to you the Parishioners of Naas, Sallins and Two Mile House, thank you for your faith, thank you for the courage and conviction you have shown in returning to Sunday Mass after the experience of repeated lockdowns, therefore placing God at the center of your lives. On behalf of the Parish Team, thanks for the encouragement, kindness and the generous support you extend to each one of us, it is deeply appreciated.
From The Parish Team.
