Leaving Cert Results – Congratulations

August 15, 2012;

Congratulations to all the students of the 2014 Leaving Cert classes in our parishes who have received your exam results. Congratulations also to all your teachers for their great work and to your parents and families who helped you in very significant ways over the past few years.

Some of you have achieved what you were hoping for. Others may not have reached what you hoped for, but be assured ‘all will be well’. You may be a little disappointed now, but nothing is ever as bad as it seems. New doors will open and new opportunities will present themselves, opportunities that will bring happiness and fulfillment in your life. Congratulations again and well done! May God continue to inspire, challenge and guide your every choice and decision.

A Students Prayer at Exam Time

Thank you Lord for the gift of my life.
Thank you for my family, my friends and my education.
The exams are here now Lord, and I ask your blessing.
Some of my friends are feeling the pressure,
and sometimes I feel a little nervous too.
I want to do my best, so please guide me.
Help me to remember what I have studied.
Help me to express myself clearly, and keep me calm.
Be with me during the exams, and walk with me always. Amen.

We wish all our students well in your exams and will remember you in our prayers.

First Communion Ceremonies

Best wishes and every blessing to the children from our parishes who celebrate and have celebrated their First Holy Communion this month. We congratulate all the children and their families and thank everyone who helped them prepare for First Communion. Our thanks are particularly due to their teachers and the ‘Do This in Memory’ team. It is the hope of all involved that the children will continue to grow in their Christian faith.
