The death has occurred of Sr. Assumpta O’Brien, St. Helens, Sallins Road, Naas, Co. Kildare formerly of Mulcair House, Barringtons Bridge, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick on 20th June 2023, very peacefully after a short illness in Catherine McAuley House, Beaumont. She is predeceased by her parents, Margaret and William, her sisters Mary and Margaret, her brothers John, Joseph, Michael and James. She is sadly missed by her loving community, her sisters Anne O’Kelly and Patricia McInerney, her brother Liam, her sisters-in-law Mary and Jill, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, past pupils and friends.

May Sr Assumpta Rest in Peace

Sr. Assumpta will repose in St. Helens, Sallins Road, Naas on Wednesday 21st June from 3pm to 6pm. Her remains will arrive in the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas at 6.30pm. Her funeral Mass will take place at 10am on Thursday 22nd June followed by burial afterwards in St. Corban’s Cemetery Naas.  The funeral Mass may be viewed by clicking here.
