The death has occurred of Bridget O’BRIEN (née O’Shea), Woodside Park, Naas, Kildare / Enfield, Kildare / Clonoulty, Tipperary.

Formerly of Newtown, Enfield, Co. Kildare and Milltown, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary. In the tender care of the staff of Craddock House Nursing Home, Naas.

Beloved wife of the late John. Predeceased by her sisters Kitty (O’Driscoll) and Mary (O’Shea). Sadly missed by her loving brother William and sister-in-law Joan, nieces Carmel, Martina and Mary, nephews Michael and Willie John, niece-in-law Margaret, nephews-in-law Daniel, Thomas and John, grand-nieces Emma, Rebecca, Aoife, Orlaith, Shona and Cáit, grand-nephews Seán, Aodhán, Cillian and James, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas on Monday from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 9.30am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas for Funeral Mass at 10am. Bridget will be laid to rest in St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

Sarah Drewett, Sarto Road, NaasOctober 5, 2021

The death has occurred of Sarah Drewett (née Burgess), Sarto Road, Naas, Kildare / Celbridge, Kildare.

Drewett (née Burgess), Sarah, Sarto Road, Naas and late of Celbridge, Co. Kildare, October 5th 2021, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved mother of the late Sheila. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Paddy, daughters Julie, Carmel, Eileen, Patricia and Lorraine, son John, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Catherine, extended family and friends.

Rest In Peace

Due to current government guidelines regarding religious ceremonies, Sarah’s Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 10am in the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas. Family and friends are welcome to attend the funeral, but are reminded to be mindful of hand and cough etiquette and social distancing. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to the current restrictions cannot, please leave a personal message for the family in the condolences section here. 

The church will be limited in capacity to 50% but people are welcome to view the Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am by clicking on the following link : https://www.naasparish.ie/our-parish/naas-webcam.

Sarah will be reposing at her home on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm with prayers at 7pm. Please respect HSE and Government guidelines at all times whilst attending the repose. Sarah’s Funeral Cortége will be leaving her residence on Friday morning at approx. 9:30am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas. Those who would like to line the route, may do so in a safe and socially distanced manner.

Plant (Hazelmere and formerly of Newbridge Road, Naas) – Oct 8, 2021, (peacefully), after a short illness, at Naas General Hospital, Peter beloved husband of the late Kathleen, dear step-father of Kathleen, Deirdre, Brendan and John and loving brother of Frankie, Brendan and the late Pascal, Joe, Collie and Billy; Sadly missed by his step-daughters, step-sons, brothers, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Grace, Luke, Eimear, Aaron, James, Charlie and Ally, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm at Murphy Brothers Funeral Home, Church Lane, Naas. Removal on Monday to the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas arriving for 10am Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Corban’s Cemetery.
