There was much disappointment earlier in the year when we had to postpone the celebration of the First Holy  Communions, however both the children and parents were full of understanding and appreciated the situation. Now that the children have made a safe return to school, we are in the happy position to now proceed with the First Holy Communion Ceremonies. While these Ceremonies will be very different to previous years, they will still be happy and joy filled occasions. Perhaps this pandemic has allowed us to prioritise what really matters. Over these weeks the children along with their teachers are focusing on the Spiritual aspects of the Ceremony; their Prayers and how to receive Jesus for the first time in Holy Communion.

Due to the schedule of Communion Ceremonies outlined below, please note that there will be no 10am Mass available to Parishioners on the following Saturdays;

Saturday 19th and 26th September and also Saturday 3rd October.

Therefore, there will also be no Confessions, which normally take place after the 10am Mass, on these Saturdays either.
