Letter for parents of First Holy Communion Children 2020

Published on April 23, 2020

Dear Parents/ Guardians,
We hope this message finds you all well and we hope you enjoyed the Easter Break, despite the challenging circumstances. It looks increasingly likely, that despite some restrictions being lifted after 5th May, schools may not reopen and large gatherings of people may not be allowed for some time. Taking all of this into account, and mindful of the need for families to plan their schedules, the Parish Team have decided to postpone all First Holy Communion Ceremonies in our Parishes. Rescheduling of First Communions will be dependent upon the direction and advice from the Government and Public Health Authorities.
We are aware that this is extremely disappointing for everyone as it is a very special time in our parish life. It has been a privilege journeying with you over the last academic year. On Sunday 17th May at 11am we invite you to join us on our parish webcam ( www.naasparish.ie or Naas parish YouTube channel) for a special blessing, during the Sunday Liturgy.
Every Blessing,
Fr. Liam Morgan P.P
On behalf of the Parish Team of Naas, Sallins and Two Mile House.
