Easter Message from Fr Liam

Published on April 20, 2019

Easter Sunday has arrived! A day filled with hope, joy and the promise of life eternal. It has been a truly beautiful week, made possible by the generous and deep commitment of so many faithful and dedicated volunteers. Each of our four churches are blessed to have so many Parishioners willing to ‘roll up their sleeves’, simply because they have a deep love for their particular Church or Parish. On this Easter day our Churches look resplendent with floral arrangements that befit the moment.

To all who contributed in any way to the experience of Holy Week we express a heartfelt word of appreciation. To our organists and choirs, Ministers of Word and of Communion, altar servers, collectors and counters, floral arrangers, altar societies, those who look after and clean our Churches, Liturgy Groups and PPC’s, and to those who carry out a multitude of individual tasks. To the office staff on the Sallins Road and Ballycane, and last but by no means least our wonderful Sacristans in all four Churches.

Thanks to the many Parish Groups who participate and keep alive the mission of our Parish. Finally to you the Parishioners of Naas, Sallins and Two Mile House, thank you for your faith, thank you for the courage and conviction you show coming Sunday after Sunday to pray, therefore placing God at the center of your lives. On behalf of the Parish Team, thanks for the encouragement, kindness and the generous support you extend to each one of us, it is deeply appreciated.

Wishing you a Happy Easter!
Michael, Alex, Seán, Hilda, Fergal, Mark and Liam
