On the 28th of March, (during Holy Week 2018), I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. On Wednesday next, the 6th of June, I will undergo surgery. According to the Medical Consultant, my full recovery is assured and the outcome will be excellent. Thank God! The surgery, and subsequent recovery will necessitate taking time off from Parish Ministry. I share this personal information with you, so as to avoid misinformation and unnecessary speculation as to my absence. If you have a spare prayer going this coming Wednesday, include me!
