At a recent meeting with Officials from the Environment Section of Kildare County Council we were informed of a ‘New Directive’, which stipulates that it is no longer possible for burials to take place in St. Corban’s Cemetery on Sundays’. Therefore, there will no longer be any Funeral Masses celebrated on Sundays’. As a Parish we are obliged to comply with the New Directive from Kildare County Council. This new practice will also apply to both Sallins and Two Mile House and takes place with immediate effect.  (Removals to the Church on Sunday evenings will continue as normal).
