On Wednesday 27th November Naas Parish had the opportunity to acknowledge the enormous contribution made by Mairead D‟Arcy to our Parish over many years working alongside many priests‟ as Pastoral Assistant. Grace Keevans, Chairperson of the Parish Pastoral Council in Naas, expressed on behalf of the Parish our deep appreciation and gratitude to Mairead for her dedication and generosity. Bishop Denis Nulty made a presentation to Mairead on our behalf, a token of that appreciation. Mairead, we wish you, and Michael every blessing; good health, happiness and peace.

Following a wonderful evening last week in Ballycane. I would like to say Thank You to so many people whom I have had the privilege of working with over the years. As the list could go on forever I will just mention a few and hope that you will forgive any omission but please know that I am thankful to all. There were so many children and parents, the Altar Servers, the Children‟s Choir, and those preparing for the sacraments through the years who were there I would say a Big Thank you. To the Ministers of the Word and Baptism., members of the Liturgy Group, Funeral Ministers, the Sacristans: Mick and John, girls in the office: Dolly, Mary and Mary, the Choirs who are always available when needed, the Teachers and Schools, members of the Pastoral Council and members of the Parish Team, past and present, my sincere thanks.

A special word of Thanks to all involved the preparing the Liturgy and wonderful supper in Ballycane last week, it was a truly beautiful evening. Thank You to the parish for the lovely gifts which I received.

Last but by no means least I thank my husband Michael and my family for their unceasing support to me over the years. I could not have done what I did without you. God bless you all and I hope you all have a wonderful and Blessed Christmas.
