DESCRIPTION:At 5pm Irish time\, the Holy Father Pope Francis will preside over an extraordinary global celebration (Statio orbis) of prayer.  It will take place on the sagrato of Saint Peter’s Basilica\, Rome\, the platform at the top of the steps immediately in front of the façade of the church. \nThe ceremony will consist of \n\nreadings from the scriptures\,\nprayers of supplication\,\nadoration of the Blessed Sacrament.\n\nIt will conclude with Pope Francis giving his Urbi et Orbi (to the City of Rome and to the world) blessing. \nArchbishop Eamon Martin said\, \n “I gratefully acknowledge our national public service broadcaster\, RTÉ\, for facilitating the live broadcast of Pope Francis’ extraordinary Urbi et Orbi blessing at 5 p.m. on its News Now channel (6 p.m. Rome time). Urbi et Orbi is a very significant blessing which normally is only given by Pope Francis on Christmas and Easter. The wide dissemination of his important message and blessing will be welcomed by the many\, many people throughout Ireland as an opportunity to avail ourselves of Divine Grace. DESCRIPTION:Many people like to attend mass on All Souls Day to pray for and remember their loved ones who have died. \nNaas Parish Church: Saturday 10.00am – Mass of the Commemoration of all the Faithful Departed \nThe Commemoration of all the Faithful Departed is the day on which the Church intercedes for all those who have died. We pray especially for our own relatives and friends and we continue to pray for them throughout this month of November which is dedicated to their memory. \nO Almighty and eternal God who has dominion over the living and the dead and who is merciful to all who are faithful to you in faith and good works; we humbly beseech you that those for who we have offered our prayers\, whether living or deceased\, may through the intercession of your saints and the clemency of your goodness obtain pardon and full remission of all their sins\, though Christ our Lord.
