The death has occurred of Clare McGovern (née Monahan), Kilcullen Road, Naas, Co. Kildare. (Formerly of Oldtown, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny.)

Thursday 26th February

Beloved wife of Denis and mother of Philip, Mary, Paul and Francis. Sadly missed by her loving family, sister Maura, brothers Michael and Gerald, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandsons, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas on Saturday from 4pm to 6pm and on Sunday from 4pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Monday morning at 9.30am to arrive at the Parish Church of Our Lady and St. David, Sallins Road, Naas for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by Burial in St. Corban’s Cemetery, Dublin Road, Naas.

Lynda Hendy (née Johnson), Ballyteague, Naas

The death has occurred of Lynda Hendy (née Johnson), Ballyteague, Naas, Kildare. (Formerly of Monread Road, Naas)

Wednesday 25th February 2015. Suddenly at home surrounded by her loving family.

Daughter of the Late Ted and Hilda Johnson.  Loving mother of Amy, Wesley and Robert, loving grandmother of Josh, Katie and Daniel. Sadly missed by her loving sisters Gwen and Stella, brothers Dermot and Barry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at her son Wesley’s home, Ballyteague from 12 midday on Friday with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady and The Guardian Angels, Sallins for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.


Margaret Veronica (Gretta) Moran, Caragh Meadows, Naas

The death has occurred of Margaret Veronica (Gretta) MORAN (née O’Malley), Caragh Meadows, Naas, Kildare. (Late of Market Square, Castlebar).

Wednesday 25th February 2015

Beloved wife of the late Edward and mother of the late Marian. Deeply regretted by her sons Michael John and Eamon, daughter Loretta, daughters-in-law Emer and Susan, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and loving friends.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home on Thursday from 5pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Friday morning at 9.20am to arrive at the Church of St. Brigid, Kill for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by Burial in Newcastle Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Dermot McNamara, Sallins Road, Naas, Co. Kildare

Saturday 21st February 2015. Peacefully and surrounded by his loving family after a short illness.

Deeply and sadly missed by his loving wife, Stella, daughters, Mary and Eileen, sons, Barrie, Dermot and Ciaran, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Predeceased by her husband William and sons Patrick, Desmond and Declan. Loving mother of Francis, Hubert, James, Carmel, Finbar, Philip, Garrett and Oliver. Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, 24 grandchildren, sisters, brothers, extended family and friends.
