New Beginnings is a FREE Marie Keating Foundation course designed to help people who have had treatment for Cancer to adjust to the ‘new normal’. There are many individuals and young couples in our parishes who are in financial difficulties. In past years they would have contributed to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, but now circumstances have changed beyond belief and they themselves are in need of assistance.  While we understand this may be difficult, if you are in this stressfull situation we encourage you to contact us in confidence. Any assistance offered by the Society is given in a non-judgemental spirit of compassion, based on the need of the individual or family.

Sallins Lourdes Fund Committe will be holding their annual Spring Raffle Sunday 15th April after the 12noon Maas in the Community Centre. Tickets will be on sale before and after all masses on the 14th and 15th April.

Sallins Parish Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place from 26th June to 3rd July 2012 ….7 nights, full board in the Hotel Paradise. Cost €759. For bookings phone Rita Fanning at 045 861 070. Payments may be made to Rita after the 12noon Mass on Sundays.  Each year Sallins Lourdes Pilgrimage invite a number of sick people from the Parish to join the pilgrimage. Since my stepping down from holding the position of parish priest a number of weeks ago I have received many cards and letters wishing me well and offering support and encouragement.
