International acclaimed soprano , Celine Byrne is returning from Covent Garden to perform an intimate concert of Christmas favourites including “O Holy Night” and “The Holy City”. This is the only concert Celine will give this Christmas as she is performing in the Royal Opera House until late December

A New Faith Development Course facilitated by Fr. PJ Madden and Deacon Fergal O’Neill entitled ‘New Life in Christ’ will be held in Ballycane Church on Monday, December 9th at 8.15pm. It will run initially for three weeks leading up to Christmas. All are welcome. The planned sessions are as follows:
Dec 2nd: Jesus – True God and True Man:
December 9th: The Church – Instrument of Grace
December 16th: Life of Virtue – Living the Sacrament.

Congrats to our senior team on winning the Leinster final last Sunday in a thrilling match! They played an outstanding game. There was great support from Two Mile House and further afield. Now on to the semi-final of the All Ireland, an extraordinary achievement for such a small club! Well done to one and all!

On Sunday 24th September we enjoyed a beautiful opening ceremony in our restored and refurbished Parish Church. We express our sincere and deep gratitude to all involved. It was a truly wonderful occasion.
You may be aware that the heating system let us down at the last minute! Every effort is being made to sort this problem out, unfortunately it is complex. Our Sunday Masses (including Saturday Vigil Mass) will take place in Our Lady and St. David’s at the normal times this weekend. We will have temporary heating measures in place. The weekday Masses next week will continue as follows: 7.30am in the former Nun’s Chapel, and the 10am in Ballycane. We will keep you informed of progress on the heating system. Sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused and we appreciate your patience and understanding with regard to this issue!
