The leader of Naas Parish Children’s Choir is local teacher Deirdre White. Practice for the Children’s Choir takes place on Thursdays from 2.45pm—3.15pm in the Church of Our Lady and St David, Sallins Road. All children from first to fourth class are welcome to join. Saturday 11th of February is the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. During the 11a.m. Mass in Ballycane, we will have our annual Mass with the Anointing of the Sick . This sacrament is offered to all those who are in need of the Lord’s healing in their lives as a result of illness, an operation, medical treatment, the burden of years or some emotional angst. Perhaps a neighbour, friend or family member would be delighted to attend if they had a lift and someone to care for them while at the mass? The church is wheelchair friendly and has suitable toilet facilities.
