Message from Fr. John Brickley re Fr. Tom McDonnell P.P: Due to Father Tom’s illness he needs to take a break at this time and has decided to let go of all responsibilities and duties. Monsignor Brendan Byrne has asked me to take care of things for the time being, in co-operation with the other priests. I hope and trust that we can all work together as a community of faith at this time.

The current 3 year term of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) has come to a close. We are now looking at forming the new PPC.
PPC, what is it? Basically the PPC is made up of representatives from the parish community who work in collaboration with the priests in the running of the parish in all of its aspects. The word “pastoral” basically means serving the needs of people.

An Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Course was held in Naas Community Centre in March. This was organised by a subcommittee of Naas Pastoral Council. Asist prepares people of all backgrounds to provide first aid to people at risk of Suicide. 39 people participated in this course which was a great success. We would like to [...]
